Terms and Conditions for Art Of Football Academy

Welcome to Art Of Football. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for participation in the soccer programs, training, and activities provided by Art Of Football (hereinafter referred to as "the Academy"). By enrolling in or participating in any of the Academy's programs, you (or the legal guardian of a minor participant) agree to abide by the following terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering with the Academy, you agree to comply with all the terms and conditions set forth herein, as well as any additional rules and regulations the Academy may establish from time to time. The Academy reserves the right to modify or update these terms without prior notice. Your continued participation after changes indicates your acceptance of the modified terms.
2. Eligibility
Participants must meet the age and skill requirements for the specific programs they wish to join. The Academy reserves the right to request documentation to verify eligibility, including proof of age or other identifying information
3. Registration and Fees
All participants must complete the registration process, including payment of any applicable fees, to reserve their spot in the Academy's programs.
Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Refunds will only be considered under exceptional circumstances, such as injury or illness, and must be supported by proper medical documentation.
Late fees may apply if payments are not made by the designated deadlines.
4. Waiver and Release of Liability
By enrolling in the Academy, participants (or legal guardians) acknowledge that participation in soccer-related activities involves certain risks, including but not limited to injuries or accidents. The Academy, its staff, coaches, and affiliates are not liable for any injuries or damages sustained during participation in programs, matches, or other activities. Participants (or their legal guardians) hereby release and hold harmless the Academy from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages arising out of participation.
5. Medical Authorization
All participants must complete a medical release form upon registration, authorizing the Academy’s staff to seek necessary medical care in case of emergency.
The participant (or legal guardian) is responsible for providing the Academy with all relevant medical information, including allergies, medications, or existing conditions.
6. Code of Conduct
Participants: All players must conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner at all times. Disruptive, violent, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in suspension or dismissal from the Academy without refund.
Parents and Spectators: Parents, guardians, and spectators must also exhibit respectful behavior during training sessions, games, and events. Aggressive or inappropriate conduct toward players, coaches, referees, or other spectators will result in removal from the premises and possible restrictions on attending future events.
7. Attendance and Punctuality
Participants are expected to attend all scheduled sessions and arrive on time. If a participant is unable to attend, the Academy must be notified in advance. Frequent absenteeism may affect continued participation in certain programs.
8. Uniform and Equipment
All participants must wear the required uniform and bring appropriate soccer equipment (e.g., cleats, shin guards) to all sessions. Uniforms are available for purchase through the Academy, and participants are responsible for ensuring their gear is suitable for play.
9. Use of Likeness and Media
By participating in Academy activities, participants (or their legal guardians) grant the Academy permission to use photographs, video footage, or other media of participants for promotional purposes without compensation. If you do not consent to this, please notify the Academy in writing.
10. Academy Property
Participants are expected to take care of Academy property and facilities. Damaging equipment or facilities may result in fees to cover repair or replacement costs.
11. Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, the Academy will notify participants of any cancellations or rescheduling of sessions. Make-up sessions will be provided at the discretion of the Academy but are not guaranteed.
12. Cancellation and Termination
The Academy reserves the right to cancel or modify programs at any time due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to low enrollment, facility issues, or coach availability. In such cases, participants will be notified, and pro-rated refunds may be offered.
Participants may terminate their enrollment at any time by providing written notice to the Academy. Refunds for unused portions of the program are at the discretion of the Academy.
13. Data Protection and Privacy
The Academy is committed to protecting participants' personal information. All data collected during registration and participation will be stored securely and only used for purposes related to the operation of the Academy. Personal information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising from participation in the Academy's programs will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Alberta.
